It is therefore understandable that the furnishings in the bathroom must radiate cosiness and peace. This ambience is often already achieved with the right wall coating. Renovating the bathroom is often a demanding task. This is primarily due to the many things that have to be taken into account when renovating a bathroom. Not only individual preferences and style play an important role. Often there are conditions in the bathroom area, such as humidity and heat, which make choosing the right wall coating a real challenge. Bathroom walls have a much higher demand on functionality than, for example, walls in the living or sleeping area.

Our lime-marble plasterfrom volimea is a jointless wall filler, which not only convinces by its great variety of colours, but also by the many product advantages, especially with regard to the renovation of the bathroom area. The wall filler absorbs moisture in the form of water vapour from the air and only releases it back into the room when it is dry again. This regulates and maintains the room climate and humidity in the bathroom. The natural formation of mould is thus counteracted. This is particularly important in the bathroom area, as this room is often the birthplace of mould, which is naturally due to the high levels of moisture and humidity. In the worst case, the spread of mould can lead to health problems, which can quickly become a problem for allergy sufferers.

However, Volimea is an allergy-friendly product, among other things because there are no joints in which dust and mould can settle and accumulate. Moreover, the lime-marble plaster consists exclusively of purely natural ingredients which are constantly tested and improved not only by Volimea itself but also by external sources. This is why volimea has also been awarded the ECO certificate for substances which are not harmful to health.

Volimea radiates this naturalness not only in terms of content but also visually, making it the ideal product for all nature lovers and those who prefer the rustic style. The pigments correspond optically to all colours which can be found in the environment. The marbled and structured surfaces, which bear the signature of the respective processor, give the room a special effect and make every wall a real unique specimen. But even smooth walls can be created with the plaster. Here, the wall filler leaves plenty of room for individual preferences. If you want it to be even more exciting, you can additionally refine the plaster with additional elements such as “Glimmer” or “Moskauer Glas”. This creates additional effects. Refinement with one of our many glazes is also possible both immediately and many years later, when the room is to be given a new ambience. These give the surface elegance and create additional iridescent light effects. Our Volimea colours are available in the collections “Natur” and “Klassik”.

Shades of blue, pink and violet, some of which grandezza has to offer, promote balance and thus contribute to relaxation and recreation in the bathroom. From velvety to cool and warm tones, the product group offers a wide range of choices. Especially warm tones radiate cosiness. In large bathrooms, the accent walls are particularly well suited for use, as it is there that you can really fulfil your effect, which is characterised by iridescent effects. In small bathrooms, grandezza is ideal for setting eye-catching accents and adding elegance and glamour to the room. You can create a much warmer atmosphere than would be possible with conventional tiles.

Tiles are now an outdated classic. Although they fulfil their purpose and have strong product advantages, which are particularly convincing in the bathroom area, there are now significantly more modern alternatives to tiles, which can also inspire and are in no way inferior to tiles. For example, our jointless all-rounder futado, with which you can not only redesign the walls, but also the floor and even the shower area of your bathroom.

The filler on white and grey cement basis is mineral based and therefore also very suitable for allergy sufferers. By changing the formula, we have created a VOC-free and ecologically safe product that will set the scene in your bathroom.

With futado, stylish and modern as well as minimalist and purist looks can be created. Even the popular and modern industrial look in concrete look is possible with futado. Those who like it particularly uniform can design the walls and floors of the bathroom in the same colour. This is not only stylish, but also leaves plenty of room for eye-catching or creative furnishing and design ideas. Moreover, uniform bathrooms offer another great advantage. Due to the lack of joints and the consistent colour scheme, the room appears larger, more open and brighter. This is a great advantage especially in small or very winding rooms. Not even the shower area needs to be interrupted by unmodern joints, because futado can also be applied in this area due to its moisture-resistant and water-repellent properties.

With an application thickness of only 3 mm, the mineral filler can be applied directly to tiles. These do not have to be removed beforehand, which results in less dirt and grime when renovating the bathroom. Once the product has been processed and completely dried, it is characterised by its high durability and resilience. Even heavy objects, such as washing machines, can withstand futado. In addition, the plaster is low-stress so that cracking is avoided. This makes the product very durable.

A further advantage is the product’s enormous ease of care. Joints are difficult to clean, as dust, dirt or even health-endangering mould often settles there, which is difficult to remove again. With futado this is different. The surfaces can simply be wiped clean with water and without any harsh cleaning agents to remove the dirt. But of course, a wall and floor coating in the bathroom area must also meet many other requirements. For example, it must be able to withstand splashes and moisture on a daily basis. But as futado is a product that is insensitive to moisture, it meets all the requirements for use in the bathroom. However, it is important that futado is designed by a trained installer, because just like any other high-quality product, futado requires a certain amount of basic knowledge and experience. However, if you know how to use futado, it is not at all difficult to apply it.

With the slip classification R9, futado is in no way inferior to tiles in this respect. In addition, the plaster naturally offers a comfortable and pleasant feel. If you like it warm, you can of course also install underfloor heating under futado. The only thing you need to bear in mind here is that underfloor heating must be water-bearing.

The jointless wall and floor filler is available in many different colours. From shades of grey, white and black to gaudy bright colours, there is something for every taste.
